Blanket Size Chart

For years, I’ve had this blanket size chart handwritten on a notecard in my yarn stash. Finally I decided to put it in an easier to find place.

You’ll notice there are no stitch counts on this blanket size chart. That is because the number of stitches depends on your hook, yarn weight, and your tension. Checking your gauge for any project is key.

Another thing to be mindful of: will your blanket going to have a border? The border should be counted as part of the finished size which will make the foundation row size smaller than the finished size.

If your blanket will not have a border, your foundation row should be same as your finished size.
